ye, Its good uploading them to a server for download later. It is also industry standard, companies SHOULD keep backup of financial, personal details etc, off site for fire regs. I have to do this at work, so i have made it my habit to do the same.

Can you not do this via the blackboard?

It it me about deadline as well last week.

ps. perhaps you should get a copy of pagemaker to practice on at home - adobe do trial versions of almost all their software, via the website.

Flash drives packing up seem to be a regular thing to me which is why it's important to back up all your work.

If you have any work backed up on the college computers and your USB packs up, and you need the work, then the best way is to zip up the files you need and upload them to your site (for downloading later) or email to yourself.

That way you can work on things that night if needed, especially important with deadlines looming.
