Delicatessen

A range of delicatessen items and accompaniments captivate the imagination from every angle. Names such as Olives Et Al, Tracklements, Small Pan Preserves, Bleikers Smokehouse, Tyrrells Hand Fried Chips and Norfolk’s Finest Herbs scream from the shelves to the discerning buyer.

Our freshly cooked meats can be purchased, sliced to your liking, from the delicatessen counter while you browse the range of more than 40 English cheeses. Yorkshire Blue, Wakefield Ruby Gold (rhubarb) and Abbott’s Choice Cheddar are just a few from the Yorkshire selection, not to mention more than five types of Wensleydale. The steam roasted, dry cured hams with various glazes take pride of place among the quiches and meat pies. Award winning roast beef may be sampled, traditionally roasted, and with horseradish or black pepper.

These home produced and traditionally prepared meats may be filled into a sandwich while you wait. The sandwich bar, our newest addition, offers a tempting range of freshly prepared fillings and accompaniments.

Cheryl, Business Development Manager says, “We aim to offer the best quality products from small and independent producers. Sometimes to find ‘the best’ means sourcing from further a field, though we always search locally first. The new serve over counter has given us scope to broaden our range of ready to eat foods, prepared here daily using the freshest of ingredients”.
